Enjoying a glass of wine and a movie in my reclining first class seat
My brother Mike offered to fly me out to California to see his new place in Redwood City. Go somewhere without the kids? For free? Let's just say it didn't take long for me to make a decision. My amazing husband agreed to watch the kids for the weekend (along with some help from our babysitter and his sister) and I headed off for a peaceful flight and relaxing weekend. I was able to upgrade my seat to first class and enjoyed all the extra perks including several glasses of wine and an amazing meal. I had an awesome time with my brother and really enjoyed the cooler weather. We ate great food, drank great mimosas and wine and even fit in some shopping. The weekend came to an end all too soon but it sure helps you deal with kids when you've had some R&R.
