Our princess is 3 and 1/2 years old. Just looking back at your pictures from 6 months ago and you already look so much older. Gone are the chubby cheeks and the little baby fat you did have. You are a bonafide little person. You've gotten so big over the last few months. Accidents are a thing of the past and you've graduated to taking your nap without a Pull Up. You're almost ready to go without one at bedtime but you've been having a hard time leaving your bed when you wake up. You want Mommy or Daddy to come and get you. You still snuggle in the morning and often tell us you love us, all of us.
You are loving school even more this year and have really started coming out of your shell. Which is even more impressive considering you had no friends from last year in your class. Your teachers, Ms. Ware and Ms. Florentino, tell me that your the only student in class who makes up stories and "reads" books. We are so proud of your love of books! You are into playing pretend big time and your latest scenario is to make me the grandma so you can be the mommy. And you really love going to ballet class and like showing off your arabesques.
You're starting to transition away from a nap but you're not quite ready to give it up, leading to some extreme meltdowns at the end of the day. Even if you don't nap, you love having quiet time to read in bed and play with all your stuffed animals.
