Sweet baby girl
Part two of our three month review is for our little sweet pea, Emerson (or 'Mem-erson' as Caitlyn calls her). She is our super sweet, smiley and happy baby. She wakes up with a smile and goes to bed with one. She's very curious and loves looking all around (which accounts for the large bald spot on the back of her head!). She's very low maintenance compared to Chase. She will hang out in the swing, bounce seat, play mat, the Bumbo chair or pretty much anywhere with nary a peep. She just smiles and bats away at her toys. It helps that she is super strong. Average size, she has much less weight to move around then her roly poly brother. She has really great head control, loves being on tummy doing swan dives and has even rolled over several times.
Emerson takes much longer naps during the day but doesn't sleep as long as Chase at night. She is sleeping 8+ hours but can wake up anywhere between 3-7am to eat. I am hoping there is more consistency in her schedule going forward but I am grateful that she seems to have outgrown the difficulty she had falling asleep. Her favorite spots to hang are in the bounce seat, Bumbo chair or play mat. She also loves watching her big sister and just lights up with smiles when she sees her. I can't wait to see how they all start interacting together as the twins get older.
