Our sweet boy turned 4 months old a few weeks ago. Brian was teasing me because I was trying to come up with a new way to say the time has flown by yet again, but it really does seem to be a bit of a blur. Chase, our little lineman, is weighing in at 15 pounds, 4 ounces and is 25 inches long. The doctor said everything looks good but we do need to work on getting him to put weight on his legs. He would just much rather lay around than do anything else.
He's a total ham and has the cutest goofy grin. He is definitely the talker of the two and he likes hanging out in the bouncer and practicing his new skill of grabbing on to everything. He's even mastered pulling the bananas on his bouncer to make the music come on. He still likes the Bumbo chair and we recently put him in the jumperoo for the first time. He likes trying to bounce and seems fascinated by the red hanging parrot. He is still not a fan of tummy time, although he can kind of hold his head up now for short periods, and he is still our champion night sleeper, sleeping consistently for 10+ hours every night. Naps are hit and miss, although he seems to do much better if I put him down to nap in the nursery. Caitlyn and Emerson are much heavier sleepers whereas he seems to be disturbed by the slightest sound. His eyes are definitely blue and seem to be turning lighter and his hair has a reddish/blondish tint.
People are constantly asking me how I manage with two little ones and a toddler. I always respond that I don't have a choice and you do what you have to do, which is true, but it sure makes it a lot easier with a sweet little guy like Chase (and two adorable, smiley sisters don't hurt either!).

Roar!
