So I find myself two days past the day the twins turned 5 months old still not having written anything about Emerson at 4 months. I can't imagine why I'm having trouble finding time to update our blog. Oops! In any event, Emmy had a great 4 month check up. She weighed in at 12 pounds, 15 ounces and was 23.75 inches tall. She continues to be super strong and can easily roll over from her tummy to her back now. She has no problems putting weight on her legs and can hold her head up pretty high.
She has started talking more but is more of a smiler and a giggler. She loves watching her big sister and breaks out into hysteric fits of giggles and huge grins whenever she is around. She still loves the Bumbo chair but we recently put her in the jumper for the first time and she seems to like it more. It definitely gives her more freedom to move around and check out her surroundings. She is still sleeping relatively well at night (9 hours), although if someone is going to wake up and fuss it will almost certainly be her. She is still a great napper and can go for as long as 3 hours if I don't have to wake her up to go somewhere. Her eyes are definitely blue, although I think Chase's are a little lighter and her hair also has a reddish/blonde tint.
