After leaving Beanie's, the kids and I drove up to Kingwood to visit my best friend for two decades, Becky, and her husband, Tom. Becky is a kindergarten teacher and we were able to schedule a much overdue visit during her spring break. We had a great time catching up, eating, shopping, playing games and even doing some home spa treatments. I was going through the pictures and realized I didn't have any of the two of us together except for when we were covered with a black face mask and, as I promised Becky, I'll spare you from those scary shots. We were really sad we had to go and the car ride back was dreadful (Emerson screamed at the top of her lungs for over an hour straight), but it was nice to be back home with Daddy.
