Lake Nacimiento

Talk about a full house!  The entire Mueller family with a few extras

Once again I wrangled the kids together and we headed off to California for some fun in the sun.  Brian had to work (after our trip to Hawaii earlier this year he couldn't take off any more time), so I took the kids and went with Aunt Katie to her uncle's lake house in Nacimiento.  I'm not going to lie and say it was a 'vacation' because let's face it, traveling and taking care of three kids under the age of three is never a vacation, but we did have great time visiting with family and having fun at the lake, plus lots of help from everyone.  The kids loved playing in the water (mainly the kiddie pool) and were completely enamored with all the attention they received from numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and even a great grandmother.  Spoiled doesn't even begin to describe it.

-A big thank you to Aunt Katie for flying with us and to Nana for flying back with us.  I couldn't have done it without you (and the delicious margaritas Virgin has)!

Waiting patiently in the security line in their jammies

Holding her little brother's hand while he slept - so sweet

Quite the set up for our drive up to the lake

Only in California would you see a car covered in fleece blankets, with Justin Bieber and Hello Kitty nonetheless

Lake Nacimiento - a little piece of heaven

Aunt Katie getting Emmy's feet wet (she was not thrilled with the cold water)

Swimming with a fearless Caitlyn - she wanted to do it all by herself

Nothing like a good game of hearts

They definitely preferred the water in the pool
