Here are some of the highlights from our trip to San Antonio. It was nice to be able to spend time with my dad, Adriana and Eddie, my SA friends and Steve and Patrice. Thank you dad and Adriana for babysitting while I went out with my girlfriends and during the game! After a few days with my family, Brian and his family flew in for the Notre Dame game being played at the Alamo Dome. We got to go to the pep rally at the Alamo - you've never heard the fight song until mariachis have played it - and I had my first Texas star sighting - I spotted Lara Flynn Boyle wasted by the Alamo going back into the Menger Bar at her friends' urging. For Halloween we did some shopping and stopped at a pumpkin patch. After dropping Caitlyn off at my dad's, we headed downtown for the game. We had awesome seats - 6th row right behind the ND bench - and went home with a win! Go Irish! Don't miss us too much, we'll be back in SA in 2 1/2 weeks for Thanksgiving.
