Both my brothers, Joe and Mike, and Joe's wife, Karina were able to come to Texas for the holidays. We were all getting over colds but had the chance to do some shopping and even made it to the ICE exhibit at the Gaylord. They have 2 million tons of ice carved in a huge room kept at 9 degrees. They actually give you parkas and recommend you keep your camera under your arm so the batteries don't freeze. The theme this year was The Grinch who Stole Christmas. It was pretty amazing, especially the nativity scene they had set up. After a few days in Dallas, we headed down to San Antonio to stay with my Dad, Adriana and Eddie for Thanksgiving. Mike will be coming back to Dallas Sunday and then we head to Missouri on Monday to see my Mom's side of the family.
