6-7 inches of snow on top of 2-3 inches of ice
We barely made it back to Texas from Missouri before some super nasty winter weather smacked us in the face. A few days after we got back, we received 2-3 inches of ice overnight in addition to subzero temperatures. Those temperatures held for several days - it was so bitterly cold that our washing machine literally froze! On top of all this, we got 6-7 inches of snow that ended up sticking because it was so cold. We were housebound all week, which is never fun with an antsy toddler, but we did manage to get out to play in the snow a few times. Thankfully, after almost a week, things finally warmed up and our washing machine thawed without bursting - just in time for some more ice and nasty weather the following week.

Our little snow bunny

She graduated from crying in the snow to standing in the snow - baby steps...
To walking, with some assistance, and as long as the snow was packed down

And finally, an actual smile!
