Here's a look back at this past month with Caitlyn. I'm happy to report that she is doing much better with the twins. While she still has an occasional bout of aggression, she's more likely to help out and love on them now than smack them in the head. We've been really focusing on making sure she has daddy/daughter time and highlighting all the cool things she gets to do that babies can't. This seems to make a huge difference in her mind. Just this morning she told me that babies can't have bacon! She also seems to be coming aware of feelings. She's told us she's sad or the beast is sad (from Beauty & The Beast) and has had a few moments where she seems genuinely afraid of something totally benign - whether it's a toy or something in a cartoon. It's fascinating to see how much more she learns and says each day. Her language has really taken off - I've counted a few 8 word sentences and I'm amazed at how much she is actually able to communicate. She's growing leaps and bounds and I feel like she has lost most of her baby-ness and has become a little girl, seemingly overnight.

She knew just what to do at the nail salon
Playing with two of her best friends, Catie and Paul

"No picture!"

"Combing" her hair

Mommy's sassy ballerina
Playing with Playdoh (she loves art and coloring, almost as much as dancing)
Loving on her little brother

Great pictures! Paul has started expressing fears too- it must be the age.
