Straight from the Storks Nest: 2.5

Our little monkey doodle is two and a half years old!

Our little baby girl has turned in a full fledged little lady. Last month Caitlyn turned two and a half years old. She is becoming quite the chatterbox and is about as girly as they come. She loves dressing up, putting on jewelry and anything princess related. Any battles we have over what to wear (and she has very definite fashion preferences) I can usually solve by saying something is a princess shirt or a princess shoe. I'm not looking forward to the day when she's not fooled so easily. She is incredibly patient and persistent and, thankfully, doesn't get frustrated that easily. She is independent and spunky at home and shy and quiet in new situations. She loves her little brother and sister - although she never fails to mention that she's a big girl and they're babies - and smothers them with kisses, getting them to laugh hysterically. But she does get jealous when Daddy is paying attention to them instead of her. We haven't been pushing potty training too hard and some days are better than others. She can go without any accidents but does seem to rely on her pull-up when she doesn't want to take the time to go. She is really loving going to school now and every morning drags her clothes and shoes in so she can get dressed and go. Sometimes I have to explain to her that school isn't even open yet.

Recent loves: Preschool, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Dumbo, soup, cashews, Princess Monkey, drinking water from a big girl cup, calling Mommy and Daddy by their real names (especially when she thinks we're not listening to her)

Recent dislikes: Peter Pan (she was scared of Captain Hook)
