I've decided that it's going to be really hard to keep this blog updated real time, but I'm going to do my best (I don't want any children to feel short changed in later years). Part of the issue is how many pictures I take and part is how fast time seems to be going by with three little ones vying for my time.
Our first few days at home were definitely an adjustment - we were incredibly spoiled after using the nursery at night in the hospital. After getting home, Beanie and Katie left us as Patrice came in to start her shift. We are so lucky to have family so willing and able to help us out. Aside from being sleep deprived, things have been going pretty well and, with Patrice's help, we were even able to take Chase and Emerson on their first outings - story time at the library and their first doctor's visit.

First outing - story time at the library
Chase and Emerson hanging out on their play mat

First doctor's appointment - Chase already beating up on his little sister
Snuggling together during a nap

Poor Daddy worn out - asleep and clutching a princess floatie

Emerson holding Daddy's hand (and his heart)
