A sneak peak at our newborn photo shoot
One of the things I didn't do with Caitlyn was have a newborn photo shoot but with twins, I just couldn't pass it up. Plus, I wanted to get some nice pictures of a certain big sister with her new siblings. The picture above is a sneak peak at the pictures we had taken. Some will go on their birth announcement and, once we get that out, we'll be posting a link to all the pictures we had taken. There are some super cute ones. Caitlyn had a blast going through them all and would even say, "Awww" when looking at ones of the twins.
Both Chase and Emerson have been doing great. They had their two week check up this week and both are about 10 ounces over their birth weight and doing so well that I don't even need to take them back to the doctor until they're two months old. Chase is currently weighing in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces and Emerson is 6 pounds, 9 ounces. They are also sleeping pretty decently at night all things considered. Right now they're waking up typically twice per night. Patrice has been helping out with some of the feedings and Brian takes a shift weekend nights. And Patrice has really been spoiling me by waking up early with Caitlyn so I can get some extra sleep in the morning. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when she has to leave but I am not looking forward to it!
