Last year I joined the MOMs Club of Coppell at the urging of two of my neighborhood mommy friends. Little did I know what an awesome group of women I was about to become a part of - they are truly the best mommy support network out there. Every week we meet for playdates and other events. Last week, they threw me a sprinkle - I know, I had to ask at first too. It's a smaller baby shower for a second, or in my case a second and third baby. My friend Megan was going to host when her daughter developed a fever the night before, so another friend Jamie stepped up as host at the last minute. See what I mean about awesome women? We got together at Jamie's house for some delicious treats, let the kiddos play and blow off some steam and celebrate the impending arrival of Chase and Emerson. I have to say, they truly spoiled me. Several of the ladies pooled together and got us another infant seat as well as some extra items for the nursery and babies, plus a gift for Caitlyn so she wouldn't feel left out. We had a great time and I cannot believe how lucky we are to be able to call these women friends. Looking forward to next week when I get to return the favor and host Jamie's sprinkle!
