11 months in review - Part 1

11 months old

My big little man is one month shy of a year old.  I would say I don't know where the time has gone, but I'm pretty sure it's been spent, changing diapers, making formula, feeding, and constantly cleaning up behind these whirling dervishes.  Chase is my easygoing, take it as it comes marshmallow cheeked sweetheart.  He just loves to be hugged, held and snuggled.  Now that he's really mobile he is considerably less high maintenance.  He is perfectly content playing with his toys or chasing after his sisters.  

This month Chase started clapping (and he does it with gusto too) and finally started pulling up to stand.  He just has so much more to pull up than his more agile little sister.  Also making an appearance this month - two more teeth - one up top (making three) and one on the bottom (bringing the total to four).

Chase is quite the ladies man wherever we go.  As one friend says, he has a new girlfriend each week at story time.  Last time we went he had 4 young girls surrounding him showering him with attention, and he loved every minute of it!  He has become quite the squawker and will scream at the top of his lungs if he's hungry, sees someone else eating or is having fun.  I've been trying to work with him to get him to stop, but he just gets so excited he can't help himself.

Favorites: playing with musical instruments and balls, banging things together, banging his hands on anything and everything, meat, cheese, yogurt, cheerios

Dislikes: raspberries
