Mother's Day 2012

It's hard to believe that last Mother's Day I was hugely pregnant and we were only a family of three.  Fast forward this year and I am 1) not pregnant! and 2) we instantly became a family of five less than two weeks after last Mother's Day.  I am so blessed to have the most beautiful family with the sweetest kids on the block (my totally unbiased opinion of course!).  This year Caitlyn invited me to her school for a Mother's Day Tea.  She ate all of my fruit and drank all of my "tea" but it was so special spending that time with my little lady I didn't care.  I had to hold it together when she presented me with a calendar made entirely out of her handprints.  On the actual day Brian let me sleep in and took the kids to pick up breakfast which he had ready for me when I got up along with flowers and cards.  We went to the Arboretum (it's becoming our tradition) and had a picnic on the lawn overlooking White Rock Lake.  It was much harder to get a picture with all the kids this year (we're outnumbered now), but Brian did a great job considering what he had to work with.  We went back home for naps and then had a lovely dinner and wine at Central Market on the patio.
